Pick Berries
Summer is the perfect time for a family berry-picking trip. Fill a basket with juicy strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or anything else that grows where you live.
Steps
Step 1
Find a Berry Farm

Go to pickyourown.org and click on "Find a farm near you." Before you head out, call to be sure the fruit you want is ready.

Step 2
Prepare to Pick

Take some boxes, bowls, or buckets to hold your fruit. Also take a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water—it can be sunny and hot in a berry patch.

Step 3
Head to the Berry Patch

The farmers will show you where to pick, and they'll weigh your haul when you're done. All you need to do is enjoy the picking—and the eating!
