Which puddles make the best mirrors? You can take a walk outside after it rains to find out, or you can make your own puddle inside.
Materials
- Small bowl
- Black construction paper
- Rubber band
Steps
Line Bowl with PaperArrange the piece of construction paper so it lines the bowl. Secure it with a rubber band.
Fill Bowl with WaterFill the bowl with water. Put the bowl on a larger plate so your table doesn't get wet. (The water soaks through to the edges of the paper.)
Test Out Your MirrorYour water mirror will only reflect if you have a source of bright light. Try going outside or standing by a window on a sunny day. Move around until you can see yourself in the water.
