Explore the culinary arts world of making mud pies.
Materials
- Cake or pie tins, or plastic containers work too.
- Flowers or flower peddles
- Leaves
- Mud or organic potting soil
- Rocks or pebbles
- Twigs or sticks
- Water
Steps
Gather all of your tools and "cooking" ingredients. The trickiest part is to find some satisfying dirt that you can use as your "mix." If there isn't any handy, use potting soil and just add water.
Grab the pie or cake tin for the mix.Once you have your "mix" together, fill the cake or pie tin with the mud. Add water, as needed, to smooth it out.
Baking time! While your mud pies bake, gather up decorations. Use flowers, leaves, grass, or small rocks for this to make the cakes uniquely you and beautiful.
Serve up your pie. After you're finished decorating the mud pies, serve it up with a twig and grass salad. To make it a twig soup, just add water!
