When you're finished carving your pumpkin, don't toss those pumpkin seeds—they make a terrific treat!
Materials
- 1 ½ tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of pumpkin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Steps
Prepare SeedsWash seeds under warm water using a colander. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Mix IngredientsMix seeds, salt, and vegetable oil in bowl.
Roast SeedsSpread the seeds onto a cookie sheet. Place in the oven and bake at 250° for 30 to 45 minutes. Every 10 to 15 minutes the seeds need to be turned, so they cook evenly on both sides. They are done when they turn golden brown.
