  • Hard copy of the Frogwatch USA protocol
  • Frogwatch USA data sheet for each visit (When you sign up as a Frogwatch USA volunteer, these datasheets are available online.)
  • A clipboard covered with plastic or photocopied on water-resistant paper
  • Pencil or indelible ink pen
  • One flashlight per person
  • Extra flashlight (just in case)
  • Thermometer
  • Watch

Special Equipment

  • Rain gear
  • Tape recorder - in case you want to compare the sounds at your site with the audio recordings you have obtained
