Hoot the Movie
The movie Hoot, released in May 2006, is a story about three Florida middle school students who fight to save a group of endangered burrowing owls nesting on the property where a brand new Mother Paula's All-American Pancake House is about to be built.
The National Wildlife Federation is promoting this film because we think it's a great story about how young people can make a difference for wildlife. We hope it will inspire many youth across the country to take an interest in their local natural areas and undertake their own wildlife projects.
Hoot is now available on DVD! This inspiring movie would make a great gift this holiday season. Order your copy today!
Hoot is based on the Newbery Honor-winning book by Carl Hiaasen.
The National Wildlife Federation is partnering with Walden Media and New Line Cinema to make this project happen.
