Exciting Online Nature Activities for Kids

  • Build an Online Habitat: Change precipitation, vegetation or biome to build a habitat. Animals say if they like what you built!

  • Endangered Species Map: Click a state to meet five endangered species that live there. See what youth are doing to help in their state.

To access these activities, click on the "Nature Activities" sign that drops down from the sky when you visit the Walden website. The sign drops down after you are on the site for about 10 seconds. (See image to the right showing the location of the Nature Activities sign.)

  • Location of online nature activities on Walden website

Also available: Activities for educators of many grade levels.
