Clothespin Horse

Use cardboard, clothespins, and yarn to make a playful horse.

  • Sheet of cardboard
  • 2 clip clothespins
  • Crayons
  • Hole punch
  • Clothespin horse pattern
  • Scissors
  • Brown and tan yarn
Cut Out and Color Horse

Use the horse pattern to cut the cardboard into a horse shape. Punch holes for tail and mane. Decorate horse with crayons.

Make Horse's Mane and Tail
  • Thread four 6” pieces of yarn through each mane hole, and tie.
  • Thread nine 8” pieces of yarn through tail hole, and tie.
Make Horse's Legs

Clip on clothespins for legs.
