  • Campfire
  • Caramel spread (optional)
  • Chocolate (solid bar or spread)
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Peanut butter (optional)
  • Roasting stick
Build a campfire.
Let it burn down until there are some red coals. Roasting the marshmallows over the coals will lead to browned marshmallows rather than burned ones.
Prepare two graham crackers.

Spread chocolate and/or peanut butter on the bottom graham cracker.

When the marshmallow is browned, pinch it off the roasting stick with the two crackers. Mush together all ingredients in a sandwich.

Enjoy your s'more!

There are many variations of s'more recipes, but this is the basic one. Some people like to insert slices of banana or sprinkle with cinnamon. Some replace milk chocolate with white or dark chocolate.

The name "s'more" comes from the fact that everyone asks for "some more" or "s'more."
