Coconut Snowballs

Make ice cream coconut balls to put in your hot cocoa on a wintry day.

  • Small baking sheet
  • Hot cocoa or chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Wax paper
Make Ice Cream Balls

Line the baking sheet with waxed paper. Scoop ice cream into two small balls. Roll the ice cream balls in the coconut and place them on the baking sheet.

Freeze Ice Cream

Place the baking sheet in the freezer for one hour.

Make Cocoa and Serve

Ask an adult to prepare two cups of your favorite cocoa. Float a coconut snowball in cup of cocoa. Or serve each snowball with chocolate syrup on top!
