Everyone loves pandas, and these panda crafts are un-bearably cute. They make great presents, too.
PANDA CANDY-JAR
What you need:
clear plastic or glass jar with lid
-
black, white, and green craft foam
-
2 wiggle eyes
-
craft glue
-
black marker
What you do:
Trace the jar's lid on white craft foam and cut out. Glue the circle to the top of the lid. |
Draw shapes for ears, eye patches, arms, and a nose on black craft foam. Cut out and glue in place on the lid and jar, as shown. Glue on wiggle eyes. |
For bamboo, draw three leaf shapes and a stem on green craft foam. Cut out and glue leaves on the stem. Once the glue dries, place the bamboo under one of the panda's arms and glue in place. |
Draw a mouth on the panda's face and lines on the bamboo with a black marker, as shown. |
ROCKIN' PANDA
What you need:
What you do:
Paint one of the large stones white. |
Paint the two small stones and the other large stone black. |
Paint or use a black marker to draw a panda face on the white stone, as shown. |
Paint a tiny dot of white on each eye and a patch of white on the large black stone. |
After the paint dries, set the stone with the panda face on top of the large black-stone body and "glue" in place with clay. |
For ears, stick the small black stones to the panda's head with clay. |
For bamboo, cut out several leaf shapes from green paper and glue to the toothpick. Press the toothpick onto the panda's body with clay. |
