Citizen Naturalists

Being a citizen naturalist is more than observing the beauty of nature around you. It is going outside and interacting with the environment. It means doing what you can to help wildlife and the various ecosystems to thrive and grow. Citizen naturalists analyze the state of nature locally and nationally then take action against that which would harm it now and in the future.

As a citizen naturalist, there are any number of things you can do which may shape the existence of a species or sway the balance of an ecological system. Follow the steps above as examples of what can be done, allowing you to embark upon a "green" path that has the potential to become one of your most profound life-changing experiences!
