Wonder Lake, Denali National Park, Alaska
While hiking near Wonder Lake deep in Denali National Park, my Father spotted this Caribou through his binoculars. We all watched for a few moments and then they kept hiking as I stayed behind hoping that it would eventually stop in an opening that I could shoot through. I found this small opening and waited nearly 30 minutes in the hopes that the Caribou would eventually find it's way to this spot, and luckily it did. For me, this photo was worth all the effort for sure. It is one that I will always cherish.
