Skunk Creek, Peoria, AZ
Skunk Creek bed, between 75th & 83rd, provides in miniature a natural habitat for native (and exotic) flora and fauna. It is not, however, uncontrolled because its purpose is to channel floodwaters. Despite the ravages of control efforts and effects of exotica (like buffel grass) some interesting native flora survive, if only, like this particular plant on a solitary basis.
Cropping for sure.
