Otago Peninsula, New Zealand
I had just finished my Antarctica trip and was spending a few days on the South Island of New Zealand. Red-billed gulls had been with us in Tasmania, the sub-Antarctic islands and New Zealand. We were at the albatross center (but there were no albatross that day) and there was a colony of red-billed gulls. This one was just coming in for a landing.
color, contrast, cropping, sharpness and may have played with brightness, although I don't remember.
