This chick of the Common Scops Owl (Otus scops) fell off the nest. Fortunately, the photographer was around, and put it back in safety. I gave enough space (black empty space) in front of the bird to give the sense of the challenge that awaits the young bird. The photo was published on the National Geographic Portugal magazine.
