I was sitting beside a beaver pond focusing my attention on the beavers working on the far side when my daughter asked if I was taking photos of the beaver in front of me. Thinking she was referring to the beavers working across the way, I said I was. She then quickly said, "not those beavers, Dad, THAT one!" and pointed to a youngster peeking at me from the water not more than 150 feet away. Needless to say, I quickly refocused and got this shot before it could swim away.
No digital alteration other than dodging and burning.
