Trout Lake, Yellowstone National Park
I visited Yellowstone in early June in 2011, and was disapointed to find I was too early for the otter family that arrives when the trout start to run. This year, with the chance to go to Yellowstone again, I planned my trip to overlap the time when the trout start to run. After an hour and a half of sitting on the shore hoping for Momma and her pups to emerge from her den, I was rewarded by the family of four heading right on to the log directly in front of me. They proceeded to groom, play, and nuzzle Momma for about five minutes before heading along the shores of the lake away.
Very little, a small tweak in brightness and contrast, and a sharpening.
