Yosemite Valley, California
Obviously inspired by Ansel Adams, this shot of The lower third of Yosemite falls is one of my favorites. Its pristine technical accuracy is a testimony to my years of working with artistic photography and study. Yosemite has been a year round stomping ground for me. Usually, I work mostly in the winter months to capture the contrast of snow and rock. But on a particular spring day, this shot had all the right elements to pull it off. Brilliant!
