Eastern Russia, bering Sea
We were approaching the mouth of a river in zodiacs. We had spotted a couple of bears down near the water and were watching them when we noticed four bears up on the ridge. We watched them come all the way down to the shore, run along the shore and then go back to the top of the ridge. We're not sure why they made the circuit. I took a lot of pictures from the zodiac, even though the ocean conditions were rather rough. I like this picture the best, with the two bears sliding down the rock face to the shore.
