Acadia National Park, Maine
My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Maine. We walked around Bar Harbor, drove up to the top of Cadillac Mountain, and explored around the coastal cliffs, rockhopping around the sea kelp-covered boulders. This is one of many shots I caught of the waves crashing onto the cliffs. Once a longtime California girl myself, I instantly fell in love with this region, for it reminded me of the Pacific Northwest. I took particular notice of the various colors layering the fragmented cliffs, from rose to tan to gray to almost black, where erosion had affected the rocks over time.
Cropping and lightening, brightening.
