Eastern Finland, Taiga Forest
While on vacation in Finland, we spent time in specially designed photo hides in hopes of viewing brown bears. We stayed up by night awaiting the bears, and we'd sleep by day at the lodge. One night we were especially lucky and this cute little guy strayed from mom just long enough to look at us and then scampered away. In the middle of the night the sun never truly ever sets in the summertime due to the lattitude. Lighting was a real challenge! What a great trip!
