Stiltsville, Biscayne National Park
While staying overnight at the A-Frame house, I took a series of images of the sunset to show how serene the sea and sky was around the seven houses that remain standing in the middle of Biscayne Bay in Biscayne National Park. With the proper permits to stay overnight in a house out at Stiltsville, the public is offered yet another cool and unique way to experience and enjoy Biscayne National Park.
Several sequential overlapping images were taken of the Stiltsville sunset. Each image was then seamlessly blended together in Photoshop using layers and masks all while keeping the integrity of the scene as it was observed. Color was then adjusted, dodging and burning, contrast and sharpening to optimize the raw image. Panorama was created because artistically, a single frame is not enough for me to tell a more complete visual story of the subjects photographed.
