Stormy Grey Wild Mustangs
Photographer: Patrick F. Brennan Jr.
Location: Sand Wash Basin NW Colorado
Story:
A storm was moving into the High desert area of NW Colorado and we came upon three young bachelor stallions that had been recently forced out of their family bands- which usually happens around 2 years old for young stallions- as the lead stallion doesn't want them messing with his other mares or challenging him in combat. So here were three grey wild Mustangs lined up watching us from a distance and I noticed that the blue grey storm sky behind them made for a great contrasting image photo.
