Shot taken February 10, 2014 just below the dam. After a long, brutally cold winter, the lake had been frozen over for many weeks. The only open water was around the dam and the spillway below. Many birds had congregated there to feed, including ducks, pelicans, herons, and geese, and--of course--many raptors, including the Bald Eagle.
