Tawau Hills Park, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia
I had been waiting for the rains to return to make this picture. Luckily being in the rainforests of Tawau Hills Park, in Malaysian Borneo, that did not take too long. With the rains, water droplets started to collect on the lily pads. I used a slower shutter speed, leaving the camera steady for the first part of the exposure to render the lily pads sharp; and subsequently moving the camera in a clockwise fashion to create the abstraction I had wanted.
