Twenty miles south of Anchorage, Alaska on the Seward Highway
Very early on a Sunday morning, this grizzly popped out on the Seward Highway about twenty miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. When we stopped, he ran into the woods and later appeared at a wood carver's lot. This very curious bear entertained himself by trying to climb into a truck bed. Then he chewed on an electrical cord (which was not connected). His next play toy was a port-a-potty. Finally, he tried to help out with the carving. No one else was at the lot and my husband and I had the show to ourselves. When we returned home from Alaska, I mailed pictures to ,Jordan, the young wood carver.
I made slight adjustments to the color, contrast, and brightness. The photo was cropped.
