Saint Augustine, Florida
Something had been making evening visits to my blue plumbago flowers, and I thought it was probably a hummingbird. A few days later near dusk, I decided to shoot some pictures of my visitor. Wow, when I down loaded the card from my camera, I discovered it was not a bird! After a little research, I found my guest was a White-Lined Sphinx Hummingbird Moth. They make visits many times a week just at dark. On some days, I have 10-20 moths at one time.
Sight adjustments were made to color, contrast, and brightness. Photo was also cropped.
