Eye of the Dall Sheep "Eye to Eye"
Photographer: Patsy Lewis
Location: Denali National Park, Alaska
Story:
The eye of the Dall Sheep is looking into the eye of the wilderness visitor riding on a dark green bus with horizontal white stripes (look closely for the stripes). The main reason the park was established was to protect the Dall Sheep. Visitors must access the wilderness of the park by foot, dog sled, or concessionary buses. This conservation measures along with the intact ecosystem of Denali embodies a wisdom from which all can learn.
