Six Mile Cypress Slough, Fort Meyer, Florida
Almost to the exit of the slough, a bird called from the top of a tree. Looking up, there sat a colorful red-shouldered hawk. The green of the tree and the blue sky made a great setting for this beautiful bird. It sat and called without paying any attention to the human below--the way it should be in a natural setting.
