Haleakala Volcano, Maui, Hawaii, USA
The 'ahinahina (Hawaiian name) or otherwise known as the 'silverwood'. In the center of the image is the silverwood in full bloom and on the bottom right of the image is a silverwood that has not bloomed yet. In the background is the Puʻu Kukui volcano at height of 5700 ft, half the height of the Haleakala volcano. You can also see the arid dry valley below between the 2 volcano peaks where Kehei is on the south and Kahulu is on the north coast. Interesting to note is you can see the curvature of the earth in this image taken from the summit of the Haleakala volcano at 10,058ft.
