Mendenhall Glacier, Mendenhall Lake, Juneau, Alaska
I have spend over 34 years photographing the Mendenhall Glacier. After spending months if not years in and around the Mendenhall Glacier, I had never seen the lake go mirror calm at the glacier face until this day in late October right before freeze up. Since this shot, I have never seen it again.
Adjusted for color, saturation, contrast, removal of dust, grain suppression and sharpness.
