While visiting friends in Nashville, these blue jays had just fledged but didn't make it very far. The parent blue jays were quick to attack if I got too close, so I learned quickly to keep my distance. In this shot, the birds were repeatedly climbing back on top of this rock to jump off, and practice using their wings.
