Calgary Zoo, Calgary AB, Canada
Like their brothers and sisters in the wild, the cougars at the Calgary zoo tend to be elusive to visitors. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to witness this individual patrolling the boundaries of its enclosure. With each stride, there was a declaration of pride of being from this individual. It was a reminder of how beautiful and amazing these creatures truly are. (This image was taken through the enclosure glass).
