Navajo Indian Reservation, Arizona
Beautiful sunset in the desert on the Navajo Indian Reservation, one of Arizona's best kept secrets: This photo was shot during its dry season when it is a serene place of mud-stone cliffs with small water pools. During the spring run-off, however, it is a roaring cascade waterfall you can hear a half-mile away, known as Grand Falls, forming a stark contrast to the surrounding dry, flat desert. Although it is remote with no paved road access, its spectacular view still attracted me to drive 2 hours on bad road condition to get there.
