Bald Eagle
Photographer: Christopher Martin
Location: Brackendale, British Columbia, Canada
After a blizzard cleared the eagles, who weathered the storm high up in the trees, ventured down to the Squamish River to pick the salmon out of the water. The salmon spawn upriver and are listless and dying née they complete their cycle of life. These easy meals draw eagles by the thousands annually.
