We are now acceptingentries to our 39th annual contest. Cash prizes totaling $25,000 plus other gifts will be awarded to the winners in seven categories in three separate divisions: Professional, Amateur and Youth.
To accommodate everyone who wants to enter the contest but has had trouble uploading photos in the closing days, we are keeping the contest open until 11:59pm PDT on July 25. You can also continue to make changes or additions to your entry during this time. At the end of July 25, however, the 2009 photo contest will close. Winners will be announced on our website on November 16, 2009. Selected winning photos will also appear in the 2009 December/January issue of National Wildlife. Thank you for entering!
The National Wildlife Photo Contest is open to ALL photographers worldwide who are at least 13 years of age. The contest ends on July 20, 2009. There are 3 divisions and 7 categories. Up to 20 photos can be entered for a $15 fee. Only digital image files are acceptable and they must be uploaded to our website. Cash prizes totaling $25,000 plus other prizes will be awarded. Entrants retain their ownership and other rights to their photos except that they grant the National Wildlife Federation limited use and contest promotion rights.
