It is vitally important to me to increase my knowledge of what I can do as an individual to make my world a better one for future generations.
Margaret V. Litchfield Park, AZ

These courses serve to inform the people of the importance of Life, and that all Life is sacred. People are the cause of the demise of Nature, and we need to become aware of our dependence upon Nature. This is for the continuance of healthy life upon the planet. Thank you for offering these courses.
Diann J. Naugatuck, CT

The Creating Places for Wildlife courses will begin a new pattern of thinking toward ways of improving your gardening. I was fully satisfied with the courses and left with a sense of knowledge and insight that I am able to make my garden one that can be used and enjoyed by not just me but by native wildlife.

When you take the course on the gray wolf, you learn that its impact on an ecosystem is an important one. Preserving this species is difficult task; however, you need not do it alone. Various organizations and programs have been created to help save the wolves. After completing the course you will have a much better understanding of wolves and why it is essential we do everything we can to save them from extinction.

Wildlife University courses teach us ways that we can restore wildlife to its natural habitat while at the same time beautifying our our communities. I have been using them to accumulate knowledge about wildlife. These courses can be taken online and can be taken at any time. They do not require any financial commitment and they are very educational and informative.

Do you help or harm wildlife habits in your neighborhood? Wildlife University offers instructions to identify and repair ecosystem problems. Interestingly, the Sustainable Gardening course points out very common “yard work” practices that many of us do that are harmful to our environment and to wildlife habits. The course introduces and provides easy sustainable gardening and landscaping practices that can improve ecosystems and promote wildlife.

To educate the public about endangered species, the National Wildlife Federation offers a course entitled “Nature’s Fire Alarms”. The course is brief and well planned and one can easily maneuver through the content in less than a half hour. Although the course may be short, one will be shocked to learn what has happened throughout the last 500 years to endangered species in the United States!

I highly recommend these courses. The material is organized in a logical, easy to follow format and provides references for further reading on each subtopic. By engaging the student with questions pertaining to their gardening practices, the Sustainable Gardening course points out common mistakes made in daily garden maintenance. Alternatives to these practices are also provided. Whether you desire to improve our environment or just want a garden that is easier to maintain, the course’s tips are highly valuable.

Amazing facts, stories, and photos will keep you interested and motivated to learn more about what you can do to help this noble cause. You will leave with a new understanding of wildlife habitats and endangered species.

I would like for everyone to take the Why Save Endangered Species course. When I think of endangered species I picture the Bald Eagle or White Tiger. Now, after taking this course, I know that there is much more to endangered species. For example, the course describes the many plant species and how we and our environment benefit from them. Numerous benefits are gained by the presence of a diverse ecosystem. In order to maintain this diversity we all must make efforts to become aware of how our actions affect our surroundings. Taking this course will allow you to find ways that you can make changes in your interactions with nature.

Wildlife University is a fun and unique way to learn about why to save endangered species. Courses contain guest speakers, videos, advanced reading, colorful photos to accompany the reading material, and helpful tools. During the class if you would like to stop and continue at a later time you are able to do so with the save & exit option. After educating you on why to save endangered species, Wildlife University teaches you how to get involved.

The interest I have in the environment and in having a garden that helps the ecosystem led me to take the “Sustainable Gardening Practices” course. This course taught many wonderful and useful things. Taking proper steps to protect our environment and wildlife starts with our ability to understand how to properly care for our gardens.
