Volunteer for National Wildlife Week 2008

A great way to celebrate National Wildlife Week is by hosting a community service project for youth in your neighborhood. This year, National Wildlife Federation has created fun and meaningful programs for teens to fulfill their service requirements and help the environment all at the same time. National Wildlife Week will be held the week of April 19-27, 2008.

What is youth service?

National Wildlife Federation, in collaboration with its partners, supports empowering young people to respond to local needs through service projects and programs that encourage civic engagement. In fact, America's youth are quickly defining themselves as one the most civic minded generations in nearly a century.
