ECHO is a partnership between the National Wildlife Federation and North Carolina State University’s Natural Learning Initiative.
National Wildlife Federation
The National Wildlife Federation is the country’s largest national conservation organization and is a leading voice for wildlife and wild places. For more than 80 years, the National Wildlife Federation has worked to protect and preserve some of America’s most iconic habitats and species—preserving a natural legacy for future generations.
Nature Learning Initiative (NLI)
NLI is a research and professional development unit founded in 2000 at the College of Design, NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, to promote, through design, the importance of the natural environment in the daily experience of all children for play, learning, and education. NLI collaborates with all professionals working for and with children.
This opportunity is generously supported by The Colorado Health Foundation and the Gates Family Foundation.
