RESTON, Va. — The National Wildlife Federation, America’s largest and most trusted conservation organization with 51 state and territorial affiliates and more than six million members, announced today that Sharon Bennett will serve as its Head of Licensing and Partnerships.
Bennett is a highly accomplished senior‐level executive with expertise in brand building, marketing partnerships, content acquisition and global licensing. Most recently, she ran Bennett Branding, her brand partnership and global licensing agency. She previously held senior vice president roles for Discovery Communications, Fox Family Worldwide and Iconicfuture.
“Sharon brings a deep expertise in building licensing businesses at world-class brands. I am thrilled she is joining my team to lead this division and drive innovative partnerships in support of the National Wildlife Federation’s critical mission of recovering America’s wildlife,” said Dawn Rodney, the National Wildlife Federation’s Vice President for Innovation and Chief Marketing Officer.
With more than 20 years of experience in consumer products and entertainment, Bennett will drive the National Wildlife Federation’s innovation and marketing team’s expansion of licensing and partnership opportunities supporting the National Wildlife Federation’s work protecting wildlife and public lands and connecting people with nature.
