RESTON, VA – For the second year in a row, the National Wildlife Federation’s emblematic magazines, Ranger Rick, Ranger Rick Jr. and Ranger Rick CUB, have each received 2019 Parents’ Choice Gold Awards, the Parents' Choice Foundation’s highest honor. This recognition is proof that the Ranger Rick brand continues to succeed at attracting and educating kids about wildlife and the outdoors. The 2019 honors mark a total of 28 Parents' Choice Gold Awards for Ranger Rick publications.

Created with the purpose of helping parents and caregivers make an educated choice regarding which products to purchase for their children, the Parents' Choice Awards celebrate the best material for kids in the categories of books, toys, music and storytelling, magazines, software, video games, television and websites. Awardees are selected by a panel of educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents and kids themselves to identify the very best products for children of diverse backgrounds and ages, and of varied skill and interest levels.
