National Wildlife Federation Announces New Chief Financial Officer Ismael Savadogo

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Wildlife Federation announced that Ismael (Ish) Savadogo will join the organization as chief financial officer. As a member of the executive leadership team, Savadogo will lead the financial and business activities for the country’s largest, private non-profit conservation organization, with primary responsibility for directing all fiscal aspects of the Federation and exploring responsible innovation and investment opportunities 

“The work of the National Wildlife Federation continues to grow in scope and scale, and we are thrilled to have Ish Savadogo join us to lead our financial and business strategies,” said Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. “Ish brings a deep well of strategic financial and operational experience to the role that will help ensure that we are positioned to tackle the crises facing wildlife and people alike.”

Savadogo has more than 20 years of experience in business and finance, including 12 years as CFO for various domestic and global organizations, and most recently served as CFO for Change.org and for the National Aquarium, the National Wildlife Federation’s Maryland affiliate
