Following the lead of its sister parks in Florida, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, recently joined forces with NWF to help homeowners create space for wildlife in their backyards. Landscapers at Busch Gardens built a habitat garden that provides animals with food, water, shelter and places to raise their young. Signs throughout the garden--NWF's 79,000th certified wildlife habitat--offer tips to visitors about providing these necessities at home.

The last two weekends in April, NWF staff and volunteers teamed up with park officials and top area landscapers for Busch Garden's premier Ready, Set, GROW! event. The partners conducted workshops, demonstrations and tours of the habitat for some 17,000 guests. Visitors that filled out surveys "had nothing but great things to say about the experience," says Christine Chin, the park's communications specialist. To learn more, visit www.buschgardens.com.
