NWF to Benefit from Arctic Fund

Movie proceeds to go to three conservation groups

PARAMOUNT CLASSICS has established the Arctic Fund to coincide with the release of its film Arctic Tale on July 25. National Wildlife Federation and three other conservation groups working to protect the Arctic and its inhabitants will receive equal shares from a percentage of the lifetime domestic box office revenue.

An epic wildlife adventure that explores the vast world of the Great North and the threat it now faces from global warming, Arctic Tale tells the story of a walrus and polar bear on their life's journey from birth to parenthood. Appropriate for all ages (rated G), the movie showcases spectacular live-action footage that took years to capture. The film is presented jointly by Paramount Classics and National Geographic Films.
