Vice President, Strategic Business Operations
Headquarters // Reston, VA
Cindy Golos joined National Wildlife Federation in 2012 and has served as the Vice President of Strategic Business Operations since 2014.
An ardent outdoor enthusiast, Golos' love of climbing began at the age of four with trees in the family yard and is now expressed through her love of mountain trekking. Joining the National Wildlife Federation was a natural extension of this interest, as has been the resulting enthusiasm for our essential and shared role as Americans to protect wildlife and its habitat.
Currently studying for her MBA, her academic focus is social enterprise development through systems change that identifies business entities and individuals already working on a problem and helping them join forces to achieve common goals.
Previously Golos worked for Cornell University in the Development division during their $4 billion Campaign for Cornell and as a waterworks infrastructure resiliency project manager for the Environmental Protection Agency.
Golos is passionate about the way in which technology and data are transforming how organizations operate and build value for constituents. She believes in today's world, effective communication about mission is as reliant on products and services as traditional communication methods, and loyalty is achieved as much by the experiential quality and impact of those products and services as the mission itself.
