Community

Community is the heart of the Eco-Schools program.

When you become an Eco-School, you’re joining an international network of schools committed to creating a more sustainable tomorrow. The program’s student-led approach builds community among diverse and far-reaching groups of not only students, but parents, school administrators, and local businesses, as well as others involved. From preparing a new school garden to coordinating an eco-fashion show, a strong community is an integral part of a successful sustainability program.
