Winners will be featured in the upcoming April 2015 issue of Ranger Rick magazine
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and its cherished publication Ranger Rick magazine are pleased to announce the six new winners of the "Your Best Shots" photo contest. The distinction is presented to young photographers who provide exceptional and dazzling shots of nature.
"Your Best Shots" photo contest is provided by Ranger Rick magazine, a publication aimed to educate and inspire a passion for nature in children while simultaneously encouraging outdoor activity. In order to participate in the respected photo contest, children must be under the age of 13 and be the sole photographer of the submitted photograph. The winners of the contest will be featured in the April issue of Ranger Rick magazine.
"It's really fun to see the images children submit. They approach their photo subjects with fresh eyes, enthusiasm, and quite often, extraordinary skill," said Mary Dalheim, editorial director of Ranger Rick and Ranger Rick Jr. magazines. "The stories children tell about how they 'discovered' their subjects and 'got the shots' are equally intriguing. You can clearly see the passion and excitement Ranger Rick kids have for wildlife and the natural world."
