Washington, D.C. — The National Wildlife Federation urged the U.S. Senate to carefully consider Judge and U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s record on and commitment to wildlife conservation and the environment.
“The National Wildlife Federation urges the U.S. Senate to carefully study Judge Kavanaugh’s record and evaluate his commitment to upholding the strong wildlife and environmental protections that Congress has passed to protect the health of our communities and wildlife habitat,” said Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. “Ensuring faithful execution of America’s bedrock environmental laws, based upon sound science, is critical for ensuring our wildlife and natural resources can not only endure, but thrive for future generations. Our nation deserves jurists who understand that our wildlife and public lands belong to every American — and we have an obligation to steward them for future generations.”
