National Wildlife Federation Postpones 2020 Women in Conservation Leadership Summit

RESTON, Va. — Out of an abundance of caution due to the global COVID-19 outbreak, the National Wildlife Federation will postpone its Women in Conservation Leadership Summit, planned for March 16-19 in Colorado Springs, Colo., to a to-be-determined date in the future.

“Although none of our attendees or speakers have reported any COVID-19 infections, we have decided to postpone the Women in Conservation Leadership Summit scheduled for later this month out of an abundance of caution. The National Wildlife Federation is still committed to elevating, empowering, and inspiring women in the conservation movement, and we are exploring alternative ways to share our planned sessions and resources with attendees while we find a new date for the summit. We will be in touch with our attendees and others as soon as we have those details to share,” said Hilary Falk, chief program officer at the National Wildlife Federation.

Despite this postponement, the National Wildlife Federation will continue to work with its attendees, sponsors, and partners to find ways to share the learning sessions, leadership trainings, and other content aimed at supporting and elevating women in the environmental movement.
